Vaughan Attic Insulation Rebate Extended to March 2027

The Vaughan attic insulation rebate has a new deadline. Enbridge Gas announced on October 27, 2026 that Ontario’s Home Renovation Savings Program, including the standalone attic stream, will run until March 31, 2027. It was previously set to end on November 30, 2026.

What Vaughan Homeowners Can Claim

Eligible homes can receive 50% of their attic insulation cost after tax. That’s up to $1,250 for a standard attic and up to $750 for a flat roof or cathedral ceiling. No energy assessment is required.

Woodbridge, Maple, Kleinburg and Beyond

Vaughan’s homes range from established streets in Woodbridge to newer subdivisions in Maple and Kleinburg. Age isn’t the only factor: insulation can settle or get disturbed over time, which lowers how well it performs.

Eligibility Basics

Your attic must currently be below the program’s R-value thresholds, and the upgrade must reach R-50 or more. The job must be completed by a participating contractor. Homes that have already received an attic rebate from Enbridge, Save on Energy or another Ontario program aren’t eligible. Check your attic insulation eligibility with a short online quiz.
